Course Overview

The NC EMS Leadership Academy content is designed to provide comprehensive, interactive, instruction in essential areas of EMS system management. Topics provide insight into relevant EMS scenarios and are taught by professionals with extensive experience or actively involved in the day-to-day leadership of NC EMS systems. The Academy provides an intensive training experience delivered in two sessions over the course of six months at various host sites throughout North Carolina.

Academy VI will be hosted by Central Carolina Community College in Sanford, NC.  

 

Session I will take place November 4 – 8, 2026. 

Session II will take place May 19 – May 23, 2027.

 

Each cohort is limited to a maximum of 40 students.

The cost is $150 for the Application for Reserve which includes processing of materials and supplies. 

If you are affiliated with an eligible EMS agency/department, the standard registration fee is waived. If you (or your department) would like to reserve with a check or purchase order, send an email request to jwilson@emswizard.com for processing.

The application for reservation fee for the NCEMSLA is $125. This will secure your spot in the Academy. The host site (community college) may charge an additional registration fee and supply fee. In most cases, applicants meet the North Carolina Fee Waiver guidelines as indicated in NCGS §115D-5.
